How to Become a Man of Purpose

Everything God created including mankind He created it for a specific purpose.

Purpose according to “merriam-webster means;

a

: something set up as an object or end to be attained : INTENTION

b

: RESOLUTION, DETERMINATION

Apart from God, life has no meaning and no purpose. Teach men that God has a purpose for their lives. Teach your men that God has eternal and earthly purposes. Teach your men that all men are alike in certain respects and, as such, God prescribes four universal earthly purposes for all men. Teach your men that God also has a personal earthly purpose for each man. That purpose is the unique way in which God blends the four universals together in time, place, relationships, work, and so forth. It looks like this:

I. Eternal Purpose
   God’s eternal purpose for us is eternal life.

II. Earthly Purpose
    God’s earthly purpose for us is to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Each man is unique, and God gives each a different personal life purpose (Philippians 2:13; Acts 17:26; Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 4:10-11). Like a fingerprint, one’s life purpose is a one-of-a-kind set of marching orders that combines the four universal purposes to which God calls all men. That unique combination draws from a man’s spiritual gifts, natural abilities, acquired competencies, assigned times and places, roles, deeds, service, love, and the Spirit–all of which issue from Jesus Christ.

What God says…. about the Family Institution

Trinidad and Tobago’s family structure is under tremendous pressure. April 12th is judgment day on whether the buggery law would stay or be repealed.

Who has the final say about  the family? God does!

The Church of Trinidad and Tobago must now look at what God allows. When God allows something to happen its either for blessing or for judgment.

God allows things t be shaken to reveal His unshakable Kingdom. Hebrews 12:25 -29;  “25 See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject Him who warns from heaven. 26 At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.”

The Church of Trinidad and Tobago is in a divided and backslidden state. How can we the Church, the Bride of Jesus Christ expect the nation to be peaceful when we are in open fights with each other.

The role of the Church is to represent the Kingdom of God to our families, community, city, our nation and the world. To be salt and light.

Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify our  Father in heaven -Mattew 5:13-16.

The World’s Agenda 

The world’s agenda that is being pushed by television, social media, movies, music etc is a homosexual agenda that is not based on truth. The reason alot of church goers are confused is because they have bought into what the media is saying and not what the Lord God said.

When you bind a man and a woman in stable relationships their family is better and society is better. In the history of the world there has never been a successful “gay nation”.

The society today is confusing the phrase love, because there argument is “if God loves us why should anybody tell them same sex family is wrong?”

When you love a person biblically you do what’s best for that person. I love you but I have to agree with what God has to say about love.

It’s very disheartening to see comments that the Church is homophobic because the Church agrees with what God has to say about marriage.

God created marriage very early in the history of mankind. Marriage is between one man and one female, and who are we to attempt to redefine that. When the family is in chaos the nation is in chaos. God created the family not just for marriage but also for procreation.

Whether you thinks its right and I think its wrong is irrelevant. God has already clearly defined the institution of family.

The institution of family is under attack. And there are alot of church goers that says they are just going to love people and not hurt their feelings,  out of the fear of being called a bigot or homophobic.

We should minister in love but not endorsing what they are doing. Remember its not love that sets people free it truth!

Family Restoration

Men of Purpose encourages you and your family to come along, to taste and see how gracious the Lord is. There is never a sickness that Jesus cannot heal, it doesn’t matter how advanced the illness may be, God is willing and more than able to shine a light on even the most darkest situations in our lives.

Family Restoration

Deliverance is so Great. On a daily basis, we receive so many desperate cries for help from people who are bound and tormented by evil spirits like Spiritual Husbands and Wives and lust demons and have seen some amazing deliverances take place in Jesus name as families, marriages are restored and hindrances are broken off of people’s lives.

Mission Rescue – Trinidad & Tobago

Murder and talks of corruption seems to be on the mind of the average citizen of Trinidad and Tobago. While politicians are gearing up for election on September 7th 2015, another mother is making funeral arrangements to bury her son and crying to me saying “it’s not supposed to be like this… he was supposed to bury me!” We need to be rescued!

A land that was once a paradise, a jewel the envy of the Caribbean is quickly becoming the murder capital of the world. Families are afraid of venturing out in evening, hiking and having a river lime with friends used to be the average past time now the numbers for these past times are quickly dwindling.

In the midst of all this chaos I ask myself “WHERE IS THE CHURCH?” Is the church on vacation? Has the church forgotten about its role in the earth? The reason for this question is simply this, the bible tells me that Jesus in describing the church He said “…the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church” – Matt 16:18. We have a Mission!

One of the greatest obstacles facing the church is unity.

How is it when at the smell of something that may be hazardous to the health of certain industrial workers, the OWTU (Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union) runs to the workers’ aid and shuts down the entire project, to the point as to put you and me in panic mode to get gas for our vehicle? And that’s just a trade union showing its strength, what power does the church have?

I am asking the church of Trinidad and Tobago to realize that the enemy is not the church down the street; the enemy of the church is the devil. Let us attempt something that has not been done before. Real unity of the Church of Jesus, holding hands together and magnifying the name of Jesus for our land.

The politicians don’t possess the answer, the answer is in Jesus. The land would only change when the Church intentionally changes it, in Jesus’ name.

Let us put our differences aside and life up the name of Jesus on Saturday 1st August 2015. Join the members of the body of Christ as we lift up Jesus together.
